CRX plans

O man, I swear, the more I read about this car and the engine and everything, it makes me want to do this engine swap and do all this stuff to it. I'm just going to write down all the things I want to do to the car down just so that I can get it all straight.

First and foremost, I want to do an engine swap. I want to swap out the old CRX engine that has about 70hp to an Integra GS-R engine that has 170HP around. This is going to be the most expensive shit out of all the things i'm doing to the car. Hopefully i'll be able to shop around for an engine that'll be quite affordable and includes everything I need such as; Tranny, ECU, engine mounts, cables, etc.

After that, i'm going to have to look at the body of the car to see how rusted it is and everything. For sure i'll have to check the underbody to see if there is any rust on the frame of the car. If there is, then i'm going to have to grind it down and patch it.

Once rust checking has been done on the frame i'll have to look at the fenders and side skirts to see if there are any more rust spots that need to be patched up. Hopefully i'll be able to do the welding myself and patch jobs, but we'll have to see about that.

Then the other mods that I would LIKE to do but not sure if i'll actually do them are: Lower the car with some new springs and coils, new brake pads and rotors, new speakers, seats, a deck, carbon fibre hood, and HIDs.

Just by the looks of the parts that I want to put on this car, it'll probably amount to the cost of the engine. But again I'll have to see how much the actual engine will cost before I can pass judgement on that.

I can't wait to do all this to the CRX. I'm going to make it look soo nice. Just imagining a 170hp engine in a car that's friggin light as hell that will be the color grey with a carbon fibre hood is just so great in my mind right now. I just wish I was better at photoshop so I could actually take a photo of the car and make it that color and everything.

Hey... it's almost been a month since my last post! Friggin long time ago! hahaha. Let's see now, where to begin.

So many things have happened this summer, it's just unbelievable. Perhaps not all things had to do with me but most of them do. I think the thing i'll remember most this summer was our Niagara trip. Not only did I win $12.50 by playing the slots (yes I played the slots and i actually won okay), BUT I got totally mashed that night. I drank some weird ass shit which I blame for me passing out and turning green. AND THEN, feel absolutely horrible on the car ride home. And then to top it off, the car breaks down at timmies!! Sooo unbelievable.

That stuff aside, Overall I think that this summer has been ok. Not the greatest, and not the worst, just ok. I've done a lot of house work such as cleaning the basement, cutting the lawn, fixing up my room, this and tha, and it's been pretty good. I plan on getting rid of the old as buick tomorrow if possible. I'm just gonna go with the standard auto wreckers place even though they charge what. $60 to tow it. It's pretty cheap compared to some other places.

I kinda figured out that seriously i'm soooo not good at conversations. I don't know where to start or how to act. I may be a cool guy once someone gets to know me but before that they'd think i'm like a freak or something. *sigh*

O well, what can you do y'know. Just gotta live life however you want it. If you don't wanna take chances then that's who you'll be. If you're outgoing then that's who you'll be. As for me, I have no idea what the hell i'm gonna do! haha so I think i'll let my actions speak for me. =)
